At the Canadian-Haitian Community Care Alliance (CHCCA), we will offer a range of programs and services designed to empower individuals and strengthen the Canadian-Haitian community. While these programs are not yet available, they represent the core initiatives we will launch once funding is secured
Offer academic support and mentoring for students of all ages, including language support.
Provide financial assistance or scholarships for students pursuing higher education.
This service will focus on providing immediate relief and long-term support to vulnerable individuals in the community. We will offer critical aid such as food, clean water, clothing, economic assistance, and housing support.
We will create safe spaces for children and teens with activities that support academic and personal development. We will offer counseling and support for families, including parenting workshops and conflict resolution. We will hold events aimed at promoting dialogue, family relationships, and a sense of belonging among the elderly and most vulnerable.
This will provide essential support for newcomers to Canada, especially those from Haitian or other immigrant backgrounds. Services will include settlement assistance, language training, employment guidance, and help with navigating social and legal systems to ensure a smooth transition into Canadian society.
We aim to offer workshops on Haitian history, culture, and traditions to promote understanding and integration. We will organize events that celebrate Haitian culture and heritage, such as music, dance, food festivals, and art exhibitions.
This will provide job training programs, resume workshops, and job placement assistance. It will aim to equip individuals with the tools and resources they need to achieve financial independence and long-term stability.
